I won’t lie; I didn’t know right off the hop that I wanted to be a stylist. In 2015, I found myself sitting in Paige’s chair and realized this is something I wanted to do. I fell in love with the atmosphere—always fun, uplifting and welcoming, but also holds a place for the in-depth conversations and the heavy stuff life throws our way.

I’ve been a stylist since 2016 and started my career right out of hair school where I worked in a studio in the city of Warman. I absolutely loved the sense of community it brought. Working with so many girls and being able to learn from each and every one of them truly showed me this was where I was supposed to be in life. It also gave me the confidence to venture out into renting a chair and becoming an entrepreneur of my own in January 2020. I owe a lot to my last boss and all she taught me.

When my fiancé and I found out we were pregnant we also knew being in Warman was just a little too far away from family and a change was inevitably going to be made, so we decided to house hunt in Humboldt. Little did we know the perfect opportunity was waiting for us - a home with a built in salon! The planning began, the purchase happened, the renovations took place and here we are!

My passion is balayage. I love a lived-in colour. There is something so beautiful to me about natural looking hair with a pop of lightness in the ends. My goal isn’t to have you in the salon every 6 weeks for a full colour because who has time for that anyways?! Don’t get me wrong, I love almost all things colour but balayage will forever have my heart. If you follow me on Instagram you will see that balayage is truly custom to each and every one of you. Not one is going to be the same as the next and I think that is why I love it so much! And there is kick-ass education waiting for me no matter when I’m looking.

I cannot wait to connect with all of you in my chair. Not only do I love hair but I also love good conversation and good coffee (maybe a glass of wine if it’s after five!). I look forward to building relationships with each one of my guests. I’m here for the good times, the bad times, the happy times and the sad times. I want you to always feel welcome in my space but especially in my chair.
